On Saturday, October 11, the Under-Secretary-General of the Islamic broadcasting and television Union, Nasser Akhdar, inspected the media preparations underway at the Camille Chamoun Sports City in Beirut, which is preparing on Sunday to host the mass Scout gathering "generations of the master", in commemoration of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and coinciding with the forty-year anniversary of the founding of the Imam Mahdi Scout Association.
Green toured the Sports City and was briefed on the work of the media teams of the Federation's member institutions, which are completing their preparations to cover the event live via live broadcast, praising the efforts exerted to ensure professional transfer that keeps pace with the size of the event and its inclusive spirit.
The sports city has been witnessing a rehabilitation campaign for about a few days, which included cleaning the stands, halls and patios, maintaining 15 bathrooms and lighting them completely, in preparation for receiving tens of thousands of scouts and scouts coming from various Lebanese regions.
According to the organizing committee, logistical and technical preparations began about three months ago with the participation of more than eight thousand leaders and organizers, while the number of registered participants exceeded initial expectations.
