The West Asian region and the countries and peoples in the axis of resistance, especially the Palestinian people, have been exposed, since the beginning of the Battle of the Al-Aqsa flood, to the most heinous types of genocide and violations against humanity, deliberate and brutal murder, especially of children and the elderly, as well as displacement, starvation, the destruction of the homes of the people of Gaza and their property, the destruction of hospitals and the elimination of all manifestations of life in the Strip, before the eyes and ears of the world.
Given the seriousness of this historical stage that the Palestinian cause is going through this year, especially after the interim entity reneged on all the ceasefire agreements in Gaza, committed more genocidal crimes against the Palestinian people, and continued its aggression against Lebanon, the "International Al-Quds Day", which was called by Imam Khomeini, and what constitutes a historic opportunity and a great glimmer of hope, to remain the basic issue that needs every human conscience to support the oppressed and confront the occupation, and reject domination, injustice and arrogance.
On this occasion, the Islamic broadcasting and television union calls on those concerned to make the occasion of the "International Al-Quds Day" this year, a day of anger and absolute rejection of the American and Zionist aggression on the region, killing, destruction and displacement, and that this day be an occasion and a precious opportunity to promote awareness and deep understanding of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people, and to establish a new awareness phase of the struggle against this entity.
Accordingly:
First: the union considers the revival of the "International Al-Quds Day" a permanent Media priority, which required intensive work, effort and attention from the media and the media, to give the occasion its momentum by lifting the oppression of Gaza and the resistant Palestinian people, demanding their rights, and condemning the criminal acts of the occupation.
Secondly: the union calls on all media outlets under its banner and frameworks, and all those who have media influence, and have an active presence on social media platforms and new media, to engage in the widest awareness campaign of what is happening on the Occupied Palestinian territory, and focus on the influential and true Palestinian media narrative, broadcast and disseminated in several languages around the world.
Third: the union calls on media organizations to provide unique and special coverage of this day, Friday, March 28, 2025, and turn it into a day of international outcry against the occupation and its crimes against humanity, and to support the Palestinian people and their cause, and to convey the facts in support of this people, and to urge to participate in the commemoration of this important day, and to initiate and encourage all solidarity and revival activities.
Fourth: the union calls on international media organizations, various media outlets, and every free and honest person capable of any media action, to pay attention to the Palestinian cause and the oppression of the peoples of the region, and the union calls on media institutions, organizations and government agencies to devote special resources to support Palestinian media institutions and support Palestinian media professionals, especially those who are at risk and still insist on performing their duty of direct coverage, in Gaza, the West Bank and all of Occupied Palestine.
Fifth: the Union condemns all terrorist, repressive and arbitrary forms, the massive destruction of all media institutions in Palestine, the violations committed by the occupation authorities against media professionals, condemns the actions of media institutions and organizations that work to block Palestinian content from public opinion, practices of discrimination against Palestinian content, all practices of suppressing freedoms, killing and arresting journalists, and calls for an international uprising against them. The Union extends its greetings to the martyrs of the press, media and news agencies, and salutes their families for their great sacrifices, and calls for honoring and caring for them.
Sixth: the union calls on all media outlets, especially those that claim neutrality and professionalism in their coverage of what is happening in Palestine, foreign ones in particular, to deepen awareness of the new realities, as these foreign media institutions, along with many activists on social media, are increasingly aware today of the reality of the crimes committed by the occupation entity against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region, and the misleading Israeli narrative, which has long dominated the minds of recipients around the world, is no longer able to withstand the irrefutable facts that the world watches daily.
Seventh: the Federation commends the resistance, steadfastness, patience and originality of the Palestinian people and its heroes, including martyrs, wounded and detainees, and calls on human rights institutions and media organizations to highlight the oppression of this people, its heroism, patience, courage and faith, and highlight the crimes committed against it, such as aggression, siege, starvation and displacement, demand their basic rights and freedom, and lift injustice and persecution.
Eighth: the Union affirms the right of the Palestinian people and the resistance factions in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank to resist the Zionist occupation in all available and required frameworks, and considers that the Zionist entity's violation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, a return to the processes of population displacement and extermination through direct military targeting of unarmed civilians, and depriving the Palestinian people of basic rights to life, food, security and health, the occupation and its supporting countries bear responsibility, because they stand in the way of the legitimate human rights of the Palestinian in all divine, humanitarian and legal laws.
Ninth: the Union condemns all military and security attacks, destruction and displacement campaigns carried out by the arrogant powers and their supporters against the peoples of the region and its countries, strongly condemns this Condemned Criminal Act, and calls on everyone to highlight it and hold the perpetrators responsible and accountable.
