Expression of Gratitude and Appreciation for the Media Coverage of the Funeral Ceremonies of the Great Leader, Grand Ayatollah, the Martyred Sayyed Ali Khamenei (May His Sacred Memory Be Honored)

The Islamic Radios and Televisions Union extends its deepest gratitude, appreciation, and sincere recognition to all free media institutions around the world, across all platforms and formats—including television and radio broadcasters, news agencies, and social media platforms—as well as to all honorable journalists, content creators, producers, artists, influencers, social media activists, writers, analysts, intellectuals, opinion leaders, and all free people across the globe, for the exceptional and blessed efforts they dedicated to covering the solemn funeral procession of the eminent religious authority and great leader, Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei (May His Sacred Memory Be Honored).

Their distinguished coverage highlighted the participation of millions of mourners, the profound emotional scene, and the overwhelming love expressed by those attending the ceremonies in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq. It also reflected the sincerity of their emotions, the nobility of their sentiments, and the steadfastness of their positions in the face of the enemies of the Ummah. These historic days have been inscribed in the memory of the nation and will remain preserved by future generations and in the collective consciousness for years to come.

In cooperation with the Media Committee for the funeral ceremonies in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Media Committee for the ceremonies in the Republic of Iraq, the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union contributed to a unique model of media cooperation in covering an event of such magnitude and significance. This represented an exceptional contribution alongside the remarkable efforts of official and private media institutions, foremost among them the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the Communications and Media Commission of Iraq, the Iraqi Media Network, the Popular Mobilization Forces Media Directorate, and the Iraqi Radios and Televisions Union, all of which played a vital role in coordinating and strengthening the capabilities required for this extensive media coverage and its accompanying productions.

On this occasion, the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union also expresses its sincere appreciation to all relevant official authorities and institutions in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq, the Holy Shrines in Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and Mashhad, as well as media institutions and professionals from across the journalistic, technical, engineering, artistic, and administrative fields, together with influencers, activists, and artists who contributed to ensuring comprehensive coverage of this historic event in a manner befitting such a great historical figure. By the grace of Almighty God and the blessings of the Martyred Imam, they succeeded in conveying to the world a distinguished and dignified media portrayal of this unprecedented funeral procession.

The Islamic Radios and Televisions Union prays that Almighty God accepts these noble efforts, grants all those involved continued success in conveying the voice of truth, and strengthens this pioneering model of cooperation and integration among official, religious, media, civil, and popular institutions, which played a significant role in presenting this historic event to the world.
