The General Assembly of the Iraqi Radio and Television Union held its regular meeting, attended by a number of Union members, to discuss organizational and professional matters and explore ways to develop media work and strengthen cooperation among member institutions.
The meeting addressed issues related to the Union’s work, activities, and upcoming programs, with a view to strengthening its role and improving media performance.
Sheikh Karimian, Secretary-General of the Islamic Radio and Television Union, and Mr. Mudar Adnan Al-Bakkaa, President of the Iraqi Radio and Television Union, presented Mr. Hamid Al-Husseini with the Union’s honorary plaque in recognition of his efforts and contributions to the Union and the media sector.
Mr. Al-Bakkaa affirmed that the coming period will see the development of comprehensive plans and programs to advance media work within member institutions and strengthen coordination and cooperation among them. These efforts aim to meet their aspirations, keep pace with rapid developments in media and communication technologies, and enhance their ability to meet the demands of the next phase.
