The Yemeni Public Corporation for Radio and Television awarded the Islamic Radio and Television Union a certificate of appreciation in recognition of its role in supporting and developing the Yemeni media sector and its cooperation with official television and radio channels.
The honor acknowledged the Union’s continued media support for Yemeni media institutions, particularly through supplying them with news and media content via the UNews Agency, in addition to implementing training, qualification, and capacity-building programs.
In the certificate of appreciation, the Corporation praised the Union’s efforts to provide Yemeni television and radio stations with high-quality content and to contribute to developing the professional and technical skills of media professionals and journalists, in line with the requirements of modern media work and the advancement of professional performance.
The Corporation affirmed that its cooperation with the Union has contributed to strengthening the capabilities of Yemeni media institutions and has had a tangible impact on their professional and technical performance. It also expressed its commitment to expanding areas of joint cooperation during the coming period in a manner that serves shared objectives and enhances media integration.
The Corporation also highlighted the importance of coordinating media efforts amid current challenges and the “Unity of the Arenas” battle, in order to confront hostile media campaigns and strengthen the presence of a unified media message.
This recognition reflects the level of trust enjoyed by the Islamic Radio and Television Union and confirms the success of the efforts made by the Union’s branch in Sana’a in the fields of support, coordination, and cooperation with Yemeni media institutions, as well as in consolidating media partnerships.
