The Union of Islamic radio and television strongly condemns the crime committed by the Israeli army in the assassination of journalist Ali Noordin, as part of a systematic policy targeting media professionals and trying to silence the free voice.
The Federation stresses that this crime represents an attack on media freedom and the right of peoples to know the truth, calling on media institutions and human rights organizations to take action to stop these violations and hold the perpetrators accountable, and the need to intervene to ensure the protection of journalists and media professionals who are performing their professional duty to convey the truth.
On this occasion, the Union extends its sincere condolences to the martyr's family, the media body in Lebanon, and the entire dear Lebanese people.
