A statement issued by the federation on the targeting of the public radio and Television Authority in the Islamic Republic of Iran

In a move that reflects the level of criminality reached by the Israeli occupation army, and after failing to achieve any achievements in its wars and continuous attacks on the countries and peoples of the West Asian region, the latest of which is its aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and after impunity for all the crimes committed against journalists and media institutions in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq, the Israeli occupation army directly targeted the public broadcasting and Television Authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, without giving any justification, except silencing the voice of the Iranian people and intimidating them, among its war crimes described and his continuous and clear violation of all international and international laws and conventions.

Accordingly, the Islamic broadcasting and television Union emphasizes the following:

1. The union strongly condemns this very serious attack, which comes within the systematic targeting of the media and media professionals, and the union declares its stand with all its capabilities on the side of the public authority for radio and television in Iran, and puts its media capabilities at its service, to ensure its support in continuing to perform its honorable media Mission.
2. The Union affirms that this Israeli crime constitutes a violation of all international conventions and norms, and a new attempt to punch the mouths and silence all voices that oppose it and reveal its violations and crimes.
3. The Union renews its call to all media outlets in the world to stand firmly in front of these attacks, which pose a serious danger to all media institutions and free media workers around the world, and all those who stand up to the Israeli propaganda machine and do their part in exposing the occupation and attacks.
4. The Federation stresses that such attacks and violations will not silence the voice of truth, will not obscure the image, and will not discourage the free media from performing its lofty tasks and mission.
5. The union pays tribute and appreciation to the presidency of the General Authority for radio and television in the Islamic Republic of Iran and all its employees, and to the martyrs and wounded of this sinful attack, and highly magnifies their enormous sacrifices and hard work in conveying the voice of truth and free peoples around the world.
